What's the best about RJ Living and working here?
Seeing products evolve from ideas to reality. The process of our designers creating them from scratch, the whole production undertaking and then us taking great photos and videos of pieces when they arrive makes us all so proud, it's a real whole team effort.
What are your work essentials?
There is plenty of caffeine, my massive curved computer monitor, and plenty of exercise walking up and down the massive staircase in our showroom!
Tell us about your favourite furniture designs!
The Loop Dining Table is my current fave, I love the curve at either end of it, and have an eye on it for my next home purchase.
I also love the Stage Plinth, the pattern in the Earth Marble is a great mix of grey, cream and brown tones.
Which homewares are you most drawn to?
The Palette cushion range from Grado is great, their shapes are really dynamic and the fabric is super plush.
The Big Top Highball glass from Citta is another fave, their texture and weight make it a perfect glass for an Americano Cocktail!
What’s your home style like?
My home style is all about varied textures, with lots of timber, metal and different fabrics. The colour palette is pretty relaxed, with some red and orange tones, plus a massive Brent Rosenberg print to tie everything together.
Any furniture buying or styling tips for the RJ Living community?
Always measure twice! It's a great tip for building but also for buying furniture, making sure your dream piece fits well in your home makes the delivery day much less stressful. Also, be sure to measure lifts and doors that may be a problem for big items or boxes. Speaking from some unfortunate experience, it's not easy to pivot a 240cm dining table up a small stairwell because it doesn't fit in your elevator!
